Deadly - A to Z Blog Hop

My theme is 10x10. A maximum of ten sentences, a minimum of 100 words.

Dark figures danced around the fire, throwing long shadows that melted into the darkness surrounding them. The air vibrated and hummed around the dancers; the watchers sat mesmerized as though drugged.
