Day One - Post A to Z Humor

Well, the challenge is over and all 26 stories were written and posted. I SURVIVED! On May 7th, I'll be joining in with other participants and posting my thoughts and reflections on the event. Now I get to figure out how to continue from here. In the meantime, I thought I'd pass along a little humor about blogs and writing.

  4. You'll have to blog a little about your prep and the exhibition!! I'm doing a couple of post A-Z blogs, then it's time to update personal blogs and finally get to my WIP again.

  6. Yup, definitely keep writing...I still have so much to do. LOL! I suspect you'll be working on that gorgeous house with spring here and summer closing in?

  9. I'm not sure what I'm going to say about the A to Z challenge yet. I'll need a rest first but I shall be saying something, that's for sure. As for the humour, I'm sure we're not all that pernickity, are we?

  10. Even the cartoon made me cringe. That's perfect!

  11. Teehee! Write on! Although it's not spelled incorrectly, I see a lot of that on blogs! ;)

  12. [snicker} Sure hope not...I know I make my share of mistakes. Got to get better about editing before publishing my blogs. ;-)

  13. Write on - that I will! I hope you will, too.

  14. A dog and a rabbit went into a bar. Huh? Well, that might be something to blog about. I notice the grammar and spelling errors but never mention them. Funny post. And congratulations on completing all 26 stories.

  20. Hahaha! Guilty! I rage about poor spelling and grammar online! But not ever to specific people, just to the collective.

  21. There is a punctuation error in the final panel of the cartoon. Carefully-worded should be carefully worded because we never ever hyphenate adverbs. The irony.

  22. I don't know what is funnier: the comic, the fact that I would probably be one of the protesters, or what Erica pointed out above. I think the three together make this post priceless.

  23. So true! I have no problem admitting that my grammar is horrendous. The irony is that I started out as an English major. I gave my poor professor migraines on a regular basis. Haha!

  24. HA! I love it! I love even more that Erica pointed out a punctuation error in the cartoon...the irony indeed!

  25. Wily Guy, TriGirl, christina, Erica M, scholarlyscribe, Delilah, Katie - thank you all for your great comments.

You have to wonder if the error was done on purpose...?

  26. I liked that little comic strip to end the AtoZ challenge :) puts things into perspective. Congratulations! You survived AtoZ! Thanks also for dropping by to read my stories. Here's to gearing up for next year! :)

  27. Thanks for the giggle! I'll take it as a compliment to the times I get zero comments on my blog!

  28. LOL. Cute. So you came up with that little comic strip all on your own??

  29. Have to give credit to ShoeBoxBlog for that one...they have some great cartoons (love that the credit is built into the comic). ;-)
