Celebrate the Small Things - Apr 10, 2015

Well, it's Friday and time to write my post for Lexa Cain's Celebrate the Small Things.

As in the past, I may post something about writing, something personal, something random or even all the above.

Or if I have a REALLY off week, I might just post a photo or two. ;)

I missed last week, too much going on. Um, like deciding the morning of April 1st that I was going to participate in the April A to Z Challenge. Gulp!

So I've been busy writing daily blog posts but also managed two meals out meeting new friends in Cuenca and two more with current friends. I know, eating out too often. Got to work on that...someday.

I did FINALLY get several personal blog posts done. One featuring our mini-vacation to the Galapagos (4 posts!) and another about a language role reversal I experienced.

I also cut my hair...tired of trying to find a hairdresser I liked and squeezing in an appointment that was convenient. Here you have to allow 30 minutes if by taxi (both ends) and an hour if going by bus (both ends). Really eats into the day.

While in El Centro and taking photos of fun things, I found an inexpensive yoga mat that I will use in the bedroom on my non-class days. I love the stretching of the yoga and need it for flexibility, I've lost so much. This enables me to leave my main mat in its bag by the door (so I don't forget it) and have one handy in the bedroom (where I have plenty of exercise room). Yesterday was the first time I used it and it worked out great!

Because of the A to Z Challenge, I won't do another Small Things post until the end of the month, on Apr 24th. See you then!
