A week from now I will be in a hotel in Guayaquil, Ecuador after a 16+ hour travel day. Our flight doesn't arrive until 10:30 PM so I suspect we'll be too keyed up to sleep right away. We're really excited about this adventure. We should have Internet from time to time so I'll try to drop a note and some photos once in a while, but I'm not making any promises.
Needless to say, i don't know how much writing will get done. I feel bad that I'm not doing the April A to Z Challenge this year. I really enjoyed it last year and published my flash fiction stories in an anthology: A to Z in 10 by 10. Many of my writing friends are participating this year and I wish I had time to read all their wonderful posts.
I am almost done with the first draft of my short story contribution to an anthology of short stories written by a wide variety of independent authors. After several false starts, the words are finally flowing. Makes me more anxious to start work on the second in my Klondike Mystery Series, "Barely a Whisper".
Just a quick shout out to those who bought the first in the series, "Not a Whispter", reviewed it and/or recommended it to their friends. So far I have sold over 150 copies! Oh, and in the next couple of days I should have the link to order a print copy of both "Not a Whisper" and "Home Again".
