Once again, it's the first Wednesday in the month and time for a post for the Insecure Writer's Support Group.
This month I'm going to use my own prompt - continuing the saga of QUITTING & EXCITED and now on to....
I must perservere!
I managed to make it through the month of July, a very busy month. Busy with daily household things (like baking my first Blueberry Banana Bread)
and adding a new puppy! He has his own Facebook page and Instagram account. Spoiled puppy...just look at all the toys he has and he wants to play with an empty milk bottle. LOL!
But still I persevere... I have one week left to get my latest novella, "Paradise Dead", to my typo hunters. Keep your fingers crossed that I get it done!
You will get it done! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd that pup! Such cuteness!
How did the banana bread taste?
It was SO amazing, I may never make plain banana bread again! ;)
DeleteBest of luck! And that bread looks yummy. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Loni. And it was...think I might have to make some more tomorrow!
DeleteGreat message! I love your title (Paradise Dead) and the puppy is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yvonne, and thank you for stopping by and visiting!
DeleteCute puppy! The most simple toys are usually the best ones. Dogs just love empty water - or milk - bottles. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge distraction from getting all the work done. Good luck finishing this volume, busy and persevering lady!
Hubby and I try to split the day but today was a bad one. Really needed to write and only managed 800 words so far. Walk the dog, no poop bags, bring him onto the deck, close the gate, back door is locked, go around house and come in the front, get a bag, go clean up, let the dog in - oops forgot to unlock the door, back around front, let the dog in, half hour later he pees on the utility room floor, clean it up, start washing puppy pee rags, he asks out again, runs around like a maniac, put him on the deck, bring out laptop to work on the deck, notice all three hummingbird feeders are dry, bring them in, wash them, put laundry in dryer, fill the feeders, hang them, make more food...no wonder I'm stress eating candy today. LOL!
DeleteDonna, that banana bread looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThat puppy is cute. He will keep you busy in real life... AND on social media too!
Have you sent "Paradise Dead" to your typo hunters yet?
I made another batch of the blueberry banana bread, mixing and matching the two recipes I had and it came out even better. I'm addicted...LOL!
DeleteSending off "Paradise Dead" this morning. Phew!!!
Just keep moving and you'll make progress. Good luck with the responses.
ReplyDeleteThank you....admit, after pulling an all-nighter, I'm pretty beat. But it's done and getting sent off to my type-hunters this morning!
