Theme Reveal 2019 - #AtoZChallenge

How did this happen? I only decided on Saturday to participate this year and it's already theme reveal time! Over the years I have written mostly flash fiction here on my author site while on my personal site last year I featured our two Goldendoodles. One previous year here, I did travel posts about all the places we've been in recent years.

This year I'm continuing the tradition of flash fiction by writing microfiction or short stories 300 words or less. I selected my words from lesson plan page but going in reverse number order. For example, for the letter A I am using the 26th word on the list and for the letter Z I am using the first word on the list. Reversing the number choice meant I found my word for each letter listed on the page. Phew! Here is the list, pretty mundane as compared to last year.

2019 A to Z April Blog Challenge

Sorry, not this year. I wish I could but there just isn't time. April is a crazy month this year. Not because of taxes, they are done and sent to our accountant, but for several other reasons.

Normally I pre-write and schedule all my posts. Yes, I could do that but I wouldn't be able to visit and comment on other blogs for the first 8-9 days. Why? We're going to Walt Disney World for our tenth anniversary! Afterwards we are visiting family in the area before heading back to the RV in Georgia and getting it ready to head back home to Tennessee.

Once home, my husband has doctor appointments to discuss some surgery for his cataracts and carpel tunnel in one wrist. Of course, once we get home, the RV has to be cleaned out and cleaned up. And yard work must begin before it overtakes us.

Oh, who am I kidding? I was looking through my images from last year and once again the flash fiction bug has hit. Why not? I have two weeks before Disney, I can get this done! Right? Um, maybe. Ah, what theme?

Oh no...what am I thinking???? Can I do it? Will I do it? Only time will tell, but for now, yeah, I'm CRAZY for even considering it!

What's Going On?

While I've been busy with many things, unfortunately, writing has not been one of them. Now it's tax time and we all know what that means. Sigh... But soon, honest! I have a rough outline for my fourth C'Mon Inn Mystery book and hope to start writing it soon.

Well, sometime. March will be a bit nuts and April will be worse with a Disney vacation for our tenth anniversary, a visit with family, then moving our RV back to Tennessee after wintering in southern Georgia.

Then toss in the April A to Z Blog Challenge. I did this last year...in fact, I did it on both our blogs. This year I will have to skip it. Just too much on my plate to even pre-write. Double sigh...

But life is good and that's what is important, right? I hope all is well in your world and never fear, there will be new books written this year. Promise! Maybe even a prequel to the Klondike Mystery books!
