Well, I can but when I am writing I find that I don't want to read. I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm afraid I'll end up putting someone else's ideas in my story? Maybe I don't want to take time away from writing? I suspect it mostly because when I read, I can't stop till the book is done. (Well, unless it's one of those rare few that I end up deleting before I finish...)
Of course then we have to toss in family time, friend time, errand time, housekeeping time, leisure time and of course we can't forget social media time.
What about you? Do you find yourself struggling to share time between hobbies? If you're a writer, do you still read while working on a project?
