As in the past, I may post something about writing, something personal, something random or even all the above.
Or if I have a REALLY off week, I might just post a photo. ;)
Hubby headed off on a short visit to the states on Monday, flying out of Guayaquil (Why-a-keel) early Tuesday morning. He'll return to Ecuador on the 13th, be home on the 14th, after enjoying his annual Retired Firefighter Reunion in Florida as well as getting a few days of scuba diving in Key Largo.
So this week should have been a productive week, right? Sigh...well, it was but not for writing. I managed to make several calls back to the US, getting account access fixed for my prescription coverage and stopping a monthly auto-pay bill.
I got all my paperwork done to file for my local sales tax rebate for 2014. Last time I submitted receipts was back in August before we visited the states so had Nov-Dec to file. Always a pain but feels good when done.
I cleaned up all the little miscellaneous pieces of paper littering the corner of my desk.

Sounds like you priorities are pretty straight to me! Now take a rest.
ReplyDeleteYou and I may be cut from the same cloth...I always find joy in organizing my world. It makes me feel "pulled together" and on top of things. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteProductive is a satisfying feeling and since our lives encompass more than writing so will our productivity. Glad to see you're celebrating those little things.
ReplyDeleteA pedi and mani always make me feel good! :-)

I had a corner like that yesterday. It is good to clear things out. I'm forever collecting little quotes and snippets, so I got a shoe box and labeled it, yep... Q&S.
ReplyDeleteGosh a pedi sounds nice. This week!
Enjoy your weekend. Hope the hubby arrives safely.
Sounds like a productive week to me. Cleaning up and getting things in order is always a plus. Then the writing can commence!!
ReplyDeleteOh, the dreaded paperwork (the all too familiar time stealer!) but at least you got it done. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou got a heck of a lot done, even if it wasn't in a word-count way. "Have-to-do" errands are time consuming, but what can you do? I bet you feel better about them now though. Good luck with writing next week, and have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for you comments and encouragement. Today is the first day of, HOPEFULLY, getting some writing done! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI always feel better after getting all the pain-in-the-neck stuff out of the way and getting rid of the clutter. It's much harder to concentrate with all that on your mind. Good luck writing this week, and I hope your husband has a great trip!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to get stuff done. Good for you! :)
