If you have been following my blog for a while, you know I seriously fell down on keeping up with my 2014 goals. I love
participating in the goal tracking though, so thought I should set up a few new ones for 2015 (or at least modify the existing ones). So here goes....
- Write books 3 & 4 in my Klondike Mystery series.
March seemed to be my vacation month. First was a 5 day trip to the Galapagos (and 2 travel days) and then there was a day long tour to some local spots. Also started a local writing group, built their website, had two meetings and started a Facebook page. Toss in TAXES and there goes the month!
Progress: none
- Write at least one novella in the new A Set of Rules Mystery Series
This new character has been talking to me for almost six months. My thought is to have shorter stories rather than full length novels. These should be a fun, quirky read!
Progress: initial cover design DONE
- Continue with the monthly newsletter
Now that I'm slowly building up my subscriber list, I need to keep this on time and interesting.
Progress: March done!
- Continue my Monday Motivation posts
Folks seem to enjoy these and I enjoy writing them, so I will continue!
Progress: haven't missed posting one yet and I am trying to use more of my own photos for this
It's been a rough month but April WILL be better! How about you?
You had a BUSY month!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see A Set of Rules!
I'm a goal junkie, but your post made me realize I hadn't written a 2015 Goals post.
(So I looked at my last post for 2014 and apparently I was in a funk New Year's Week since I wrote about the year, "I got divorced, I ended up at a hospital because of health issues, and my dog died." -- no wonder I didn't write down my goals, lol.)
You've motivated me to write mine down. I'll blog about them tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration!
A list of Goals, what a novel idea! Maybe it will calm the swirling in my mind. Thank you! P.S. can't wait to read Rules.
ReplyDeleteGlad I kick-started you after you kick-started me! I amy not make much progress but I enjoy at least trying to motivate myself. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou can join the goals group anytime...they had been doing this for several years before I started. It does help me focus a little.
