Reporting in for Isa-Lee Wolf's #AccountaClub. Each Friday we post an accountability update for our current projects/goals/whatever.
I missed/skipped last week....sorry!
1) Support hubby's project in any way I can.
Well, the contractors came and went and we have a pavilion. Check it out at the Backend of Nowhere Garage blog. I've sent out an email plea for help from family & friends, we'll see how that goes.
2) Finish the rewrite of my former Kindle World books, get new covers and republish them. I also plan on combining the three into a box set as well as a print version.
This is getting there. The covers are done and the first edit of the three are complete. I need to do one more run through, figure out a marketing strategy and hopefully get them published before we have a week of grandkids visiting.
3) In addition, I have three blogs that have asked me to write guest posts.
One down and two to go! I plan to get the other two done by the end of this weekend. Phew!
Two of our young grandgirls are coming to stay with us for a week, the 15th to the 22nd. I will be busy all week so will be skipping next week's post.
Another week down...see you

Wow, that's just a week away! I'll be moving that week - first load on the 15th, 2nd on the 18th.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I finally decided that, for this book, I need to set writing goals. The first one was already in play format before I turned it into a book. This is a different task, and I'm having fun finding out how to make it work for me. So I set a weekly word and research goal.
After we get moved in, at some point I'll pull back out the first book and do a full edit. That will be interesting!
Have fun with the grandkids!
I found I work best in the NaNoWriMo mode - set a deadline, then set a daily goal. Write the first draft, then edit and expand. I tend to add a lot of description to my second draft. LOL! I do tend to do all my research while writing rather than before, although there are things I do check out ahead of time.
DeleteGood luck!!!!!!!!!!
Thats gonna be nice, having grandkids around for a few days. Mine are too far away.
ReplyDeleteI am sure looking forward to getting the box seat. I will need you to send me a post it autograph for each one when i get it.
It will be a couple of weeks before the box set is available in print. Formatting that is always a pain for me. I might pay someone to do it this time. Good luck with your eye stuff!
DeleteThanks, Froggi! 8-27, last post-op on left eye. 8-28, keratotamy (sp??) surgery on right eye... 11am my time is checkin. I will get more anxious as time gets closer. I am in no hurry... gotta pay for this next eye surgery. Lol... no hurry. I know you will get it done regardless of how it happens.
