#AtoZchallenge: Haber or Have

Haber (Spanish) or Have (English)
[source]
It was just a silly children's game, something she remembered from childhood.

Blindfolded children, milling around and playing their version of Blindman's Bluff.

Life was so simple then, so carefree.

She'd had it all, a great childhood, wonderful parents, a loving husband and a rewarding career.

Was it all lost now, everything she had?

The darkness was pervasive as the silence.

She sniffed the air, trying to find something familiar, something to hold on to.

Nothing.

No, wait, was that gas?

She screamed for help one more time, even though she knew she went unheard.

My theme is 10x10.
