REFLECTIONS on Nov 2018 20 Day Wellness Challenge

20 Day Mental Wellness Challenge
It's time to look back and reflect upon the last twenty days.
Was it worth it? Do I feel any different? How did I do?

Well, it was a mixed bag. Unfortunately, I picked a bad month for this since I also decided on doing NaNoWriMo this month and we are prepping to leave TODAY for a two day drive to Maryland for a family wedding. When we get home, we have less than a week to prep for a two day drive to Florida for a Disney cruise with our youngest granddaughter. Eeek!

My results? Well, some days were easy, some were almost impossible, but most were doable. I enjoyed this and would definitely do it again. It did get me thinking outside my tiny world, and that is a good thing.

There are a variety of challenges out there, just do a search. Who knows what I might do next - or when?

Did I make my goal for yesterday?

They call it practice because it's not a habit. In this case, it's a something I'd like to make a habit. So yes, I did work on this all day. I am an overthinker - always have been, always will be. Was I successful? Not completely, so I'm marking this as a partial but ongoing challenge. Are you an overthinker? Do you find yourself missing things, your mind in a whirl? How did you do yesterday?

This one gave me pause. What hubby calls complaining, I call making a statement about something. He also says I'm more of a pessimist while I say I'm a realist. But I did try to not make realistic statements too often yesterday. LOL! So I say I almost made it. What about you?

20 Day Wellness Challenge Result: Nov 14 2018


Did I make my goal for yesterday?

I had the best intentions....honest! It meant setting my alarm. That was the easy part. The hard part was spending thirty minutes doing something I don't normally do - meditate. It felt odd. I rarely take quiet time out for anything. I used to but somehow got out of the habit. What about your? Do you meditate or pray on a regular basis? Was this an easy one for you to get done or did you struggle a bit like me?
