Motivation Monday: Memories

This happens to be one of my favorite sayings and one that I never heard until I was searching for an appropriate quote to put on memories bottles to family and friends of my late husband.

We had known each other for over twenty-two years, been married nineteen when he died. The quote hit me hard, how could I be sad that he was gone after being so fortunate to have had him in my life?

I will always have the memories, always hold him close to my heart. Tears were shed but there were also happy tears mixed with the sad, in thanks for what we had shared.
