Definitely not.
If no, how many times have you done it and have you won?
I've done NaNo twice before: 2011 and August Camp 2012. Sadly, I have yet to win, but I can feel that this novel will be the winner!
If no, what is the best tip you can give to a first-time NaNo'er?
The best tip I can give is to turn off that dreadful inner-editor. It's the reason why I haven't won yet. Also, just keep on writing, even if it kills you (figuratively).
How much preparation do you plan to do before November 1st?
I've got a basic plot and a few characters. I'm currently working on my settings. I cannot plan out every little detail because that'd drive me insane!
Got anything you'd like to tell us about this years project?
It was inspired by a mix of Isaac Asimov's The Foundation Trilogy, my poster with a unicorn on it, and Homestuck.
Anything else you'd like to share?
Not that I'm aware of.
I'm Kacie and I am currently living in South Dakota.
I am absolutely in love with the fantasy and science fiction genres.
Currently, I'm babysitting, but am looking for a part-time job.
Writing, reading, and video games are my passions.
