Jaywalking - A to Z Blog Hop

My theme is 10x10.
A maximum of ten sentences, a minimum of 100 words.

Her mama always told her people got arrested in NYC for jaywalking but she never believed her. Now she was in a holding tank at the local precinct, wondering what happened and worst, what was going to happen.
To read the full story, please check out the Amazon e-book
"A to Z in 10 x 10".
It's only .99!

Thank you to Jaye Robin Brown for her starting prompt (in italics)

  1. The moral: Never count out loud. People will look at you funny and figure you can't do math.

  2. Nice glimpse inside of her brain.

  3. Good follow up! (Though I now realize it should be jayewalking...har, har)

  4. The chance of me having a nap to wake up from is not very great. Good story from you as usual.

  5. I like the really tight third person POV, how you only give so much away. Very nicely done. Always pays to listen to your mama...:)

  6. Glad everyone enjoyed it...I had fun writing it!

  7. Great job at creating this unique character in such a small space. Definitely feels like a character you could do more with in the future.

Wishing you continued success with the A to Z challenge,

  8. Obssessive-compulsive or loony tunes?
    Great stuff!

  9. Took this one several directions before hitting on the real "character". Glad everyone enjoyed it.

I'm tired of talking to myself. Drop a note, please?
