He traced the words on the bottle; D A N G E R P O I S O N. It had been so simple to buy, just walk in the home supply store, locate it and take it to the checkout. A mere ten minutes of his life to take care of a ten year problem.
Ah, I see this site has a new "do"! Congrats! Loved the story, too. I'm starting to think you're just a bit twisted . . . ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the new look of the blog! How much did you tip the artist for knocking off a few years (and wrinkles)? LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know, you'll pour poison down my rat hole for that remark.

That was awesome. Great job. You had me till the end. And I usually can smell a rat (twist) a miles away.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking fire ants... but rats will do!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the new visitors to my blog - just a note, I added a missing word to the story. LOL! Must have been a late night. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAh, the twist. Love your new look. BTW: I think I heard my cat say that as he positioned himself over a mole hole in our yard and peed in it.
ReplyDeleteHa! I thought it was going somewhere much more sinister, but I love the lighthearted twist.
ReplyDeleteDid you change your blog header? I don't remember it looking like that, but it looks great!!
Wishing you continued success with the A to Z challenge,
Jocelyn
Great P post, Donna!
ReplyDeleteThanks, glad you like the new look. Congrats to your kitty cat. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYup, won a commenting contest and got a new header and design tweak. I'll be posting about it on Sunday.
